The August Phantom
The Phantom for August is single coloured in a cyan-green. The colour closely resembles teal which is a colour named after the Eurasian teal, a duck which presents a similarly coloured stripe on its head, ”teal” entered parlance as a decorative colour name in 1917. The Phantom eyes are dark but run into salty ash tears, silver grey in places. This summer Phantom evokes tropical lagoons, sultry jungles and lavish peacock feathers. It is a Ghost of understated dignity.
